My Story

I am the founder of Bridge Academy International and an educational leader focused on closing gaps in literacy and instructional practice. With experience as an assistant principal and special education specialist, I have seen firsthand the impact that strong, evidence-based teaching can have on student success. My work centers on equipping educators with the tools, knowledge, and confidence to deliver effective instruction and meaningful interventions. Through Bridge Academy, I lead training and certification programs designed to move beyond theory and create real, measurable change in classrooms and schools across the globe.

I hold a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction, along with postgraduate studies in Educational Leadership with a principalship focus from Lamar University in Texas. My academic background is paired with extensive, hands-on experience across multiple leadership roles in education, allowing me to bridge the gap between research, policy, and real classroom practice.

My career began in special education, where I served as both a teacher and case manager, supporting students with a wide range of learning needs. I developed deep expertise in designing and implementing individualized education programs, aligning interventions with data, and ensuring compliance while maintaining a strong focus on student growth. As a dyslexia specialist trained in structured literacy approaches, I have worked directly with students and educators to implement evidence-based reading instruction grounded in the Science of Reading, with a focus on sustainable, measurable outcomes.

As I advanced into leadership roles, including Dean of Students and school administrator, my work expanded to include schoolwide systems, behavior frameworks, instructional coaching, and staff development. I have led initiatives focused on PBIS, MTSS, and data-driven instruction, while supporting teachers in strengthening their practice through coaching, professional development, and strategic planning. My leadership is grounded in building strong systems, fostering collaboration, and ensuring that every decision is aligned to improving outcomes for students.

In addition to my work in the United States, I have extended my impact internationally by providing teacher training and professional development to educators abroad. My international work focuses on strengthening literacy instruction, building capacity in special education, and equipping teachers with practical, research-based strategies they can implement immediately. Through these efforts, I am committed to developing educators globally and supporting schools in building sustainable systems that drive long-term success.

Through Bridge Academy International, I bring together my expertise in literacy, special education, and instructional leadership to deliver high-quality training, certification programs, and consulting services. My work is rooted in a clear mission: to empower educators, transform schools, and create meaningful, lasting impact for students and communities worldwide.
