About the Founder
Bridge Academy International was founded by an educational leader and former special education teacher with extensive experience in literacy, dyslexia intervention, and instructional leadership.
Holding a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction and postgraduate studies in Educational Leadership with a principalship focus from Lamar University, this work reflects a strong foundation in both research and practice. My professional journey spans the full continuum of education. I began as a daycare owner and director, later serving as a paraeducator before becoming a classroom teacher. I went on to work as a special education teacher and case manager at both the elementary and secondary levels, developing deep expertise in supporting diverse learners and designing effective, data-driven instruction. I have also served as a dyslexia specialist, dean of students, and school administrator, bringing a comprehensive understanding of instruction, intervention, and schoolwide systems.
As an educator in the diaspora, I am deeply committed to expanding access to high-quality education across communities. Through national and international training, Bridge Academy International partners with educators and organizations to build the knowledge, skills, and systems needed to strengthen instruction, improve outcomes, and create meaningful, lasting impact for students worldwide. This work is driven by a clear mission: to empower educators, strengthen schools, and ensure every student has access to effective, high-quality instruction.
